Read into it what you will, but they posted a letter from David Lynch ("Your friend") to projectionists regarding the way to show Mulholland Drive.

Oh yeah, I did see that! I just took it as an interesting anecdote, but that would be the best if that got the C treatment. That's my favorite of his. Really looking forward to getting my copy of Lost Highway, it's been years since I've seen it and the review for the disc said it was done well so it will be great to see in Blu.

Aaaaargh! Why is it so hard to get Lynch titles in region A blu? Save for blu velvet which was super cheap, I had to get the region free German Lost Highway and I've had to settle for Mulholland on DVD. At least I have Criterion's Eraserhead to look forward to.
Time for a multi-region Blu-ray player, Omega.

At this point I think it's safe to say Eraserhead, the shorts, Mulholland Dr. and Lost Highway are all safe bets for Criterion editions.I'd like to say that The Elephant Man is too, but Mel Brooks (the film's executive producer) is looking to release that on blu himself.

Yes, unfortunately you are probably right. Any suggestions? That aren't expensive? I already own two other BR players.
I have bought all my multi region players from here.

Looks like they are doing the right thing and limiting this additional season to nine episodes. I don't think anything larger could maintain that consistent mood from the earlier episodes of the original series. I am thrilled to see Lynch working again, and Showtime shows have nice budgets.
So unexpected though.
