I like foreign film posters a lot, and have a few around my house. German The Third Man and Japanese Twin Peaks are my favorites.

I've tried to get some from my local theater, but they won't let people have them. I don't know why, the theater just puts them up in the attic and forgets about them.

A few years ago I bought several old Finnish movie posters from a small local cinema where a friend of mine used to work. The oldest ones were from the 70's, some might even be from the 60's. I also got some nice music and film posters from the 70's that my mom and her brothers had bought a long long time ago. I don't know if they're that valuable but I really treasure them.

At the moment I have these on my wall:

Double Life of Veronique
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
After Hours

I think they're all original posters made for their Finnish theatrical releases. Perhaps I'll post photos some day.

Does anybody have one of the signed posters from Criterion? My wife would really like the Amarcord one, but I've been rather hesitant because I'm not sure of the quality or shipping care.

I'd also love the Amarcord one but i'll wait 100 years to get it free domain

I got a photography of John Cassavetes directing a scene for 'too late blues' not a poster but quite interesting...

Got my Vivre Sa Vie poster from Criterion (some time ago). It came carefully rolled with a protective sheet over the poster face packaged in a very solid tube, which was itself enclosed in a surprisingly over-sized box. The poster is of very nice quality, although the image of Anna is more blurred than one would expect. Have to save up for, and find an appropriate frame.

I have both the Criterion art prints Amarcord and Robinson Crusoe on Mars. They are both very nice. Will post pics once framed and all.

I'm also planning on getting the Monsters and Madmen set soon, but I'm waiting on Divorce Italian Style until I actually see the film. You would have to be a douche to buy a poster for a film you haven't seen.

Anybody have Polish posters? We're looking at collecting several very soon, now that we have our own house and an entire media room to decorate.
